My first DIY project was my card box. Here is the final product! YAY! I bought paper mache boxes from Hobby Lobby. I then cut out the tops and bottoms of the boxes as needed and then cut the slit for the cards to go in. After making all the cuts I painted all the boxes. I used latex paint samples from Lowes. Great quality paint very cheap prices. I also bought a couple cans of white spray paint as primer to coat the boxes before adding the latex paint. I figured with the boxes being brown this would make the colors turn out better. After that I added the picture of us, the rhinestones, cards letters, and the little hearts. I used E-6000 glue to attach everything! This glue has been my must have for every DIY project.

My next DIY project was making wooden letters for the gift table and for the cake table. I bought unfinished wooden letters from Hobby Lobby. I then painted them using the same latex paint from Lowes. After that I added rhinestones which I bought from Hobby Lobby as well. Again I also used E-6000 glue to attach the rhinestones. And here they are.... We Do for the cake table which I couldnt fit into the picture as a whole and have you see the rhinestones and Mrs and Mr for the gift table.

My next project was to make flip flops for my bridesmaids for the reception. I bought flip flops in the off season from Old Navy. Got the metallic ones for $3 each! Then I covered the straps in silver satin ribbon attach rhinestones to the ribbon then placed a flower on them with a rhinestone in the middle of the flower. I used E-6000 glue to attach everything.

Next on the list personalized wire hangers. These were a project I was scared to tackle but must admit turned out to be SUPER easy and cheap. I used 12 gauge floral wire bought from Hobby Lobby, needle nose pliers, E-6000 glue, navy organza ribbon, and the hangers were bought from Target for approx $1 each. I began by making all my names out of wire using the needle nose pliers to tighten letters and bend the wire in places my fingers dont get to. I suggest going online and looking at other peoples to help you get an idea of how to bend the wire to make the letters. After I make the names I drilled small holes into the ends of the hangers. Then I put a little glue in the hole I drilled and put a little glue on the end of the wire and then placed the wire into the holes. I then added a ribbon bow just for a little color. I then took a step back and really thought they needed a little something else. So I used left over flowers from my flip flops and left over rhinestones and made the cute little rhinestone flowers that I added to the hangers. Again I used E-6000 glue to attach the stones to the flower and then the flower to the hanger.
